Hi, I’m Justin. I’m passionate about geospatial software development and delivering practical, data-driven solutions to real-world problems. That work draws from a background in GIS, remote sensing, spatial statistics, and machine learning.

Most of what I build starts the same way: I run into a limitation in an existing tool and decide to develop the piece I need properly instead of working around it. Whether a project comes out of my research or just intellectual curiosity, I’d rather write a clean solution than settle for something that almost fits. Across my packages, I care about the same few things: results that are correct, documentation you can actually follow, and a small dependency footprint.

I live in North Carolina with my wife and our dog.
